Jessicas Travels Type: Flash/Actionscript 2/XML Site Created: 5th July 2005
This is a fully dynamic flash website. while the design is in the flash file, all of the content is in seperate XML documents that are loaded in (no, I haven't touched XML before this, doh!). The list of galleries for each country, the dots (and position of country name) for the map, and the images for each gallery are all in XML files. I also use PHP string variables appended to the URL in order to reuse the same swf for each gallery. As a result, the site is actually only two pages, just two heavily used pages. I learned a lot with this project, and I'm quite excited about exploring this further.
